My first career was nursing and included working in Texas for 2 years. Having earlier completed some papers in Education, I realised that I wanted to pursue this area further. My teaching experience involved students from Year 6 to Year 13. During this time I found that I had a particular interest in those students who needed extra support. I have now just completed my first year as an RTLB. Next year I begin my study so that I can work towards the PGDip in Specialist Teaching.
